A Drusy is a crystal base which is covered in or has at lease one face of small (or even microscopic) crystals covering the surface. These small surface crystals are often, but not always of the same mineral as the base. This is a natural formation which acts to heighten the vibrational level of the main crystal base. It  can sharpen the focus of the host mineral enabling an acceleration in the process or properties of of the host.
