The Phantom Crystal, similar to the manifestation crystal, is the formation of a crystal within the form of a larger crystal. In the case of a Phantom crystal the secondary or internal crystal is not fully formed and show up as a phantom or ghost formation. Often the phantoms are formed by mineral inclusions different from the mother crystal and many times they appear in multiples or repeating phantoms.

The phantoms are formed when outside influences effect the crystal during it's formation. These influenced represent possibilities or realities that might have happened or could yet happen. This type of crystal formation is strong when used in meditation to access past or future lives that you may have lived. If the phantom is formed from second mineral other than that of the mother crystal, this will affect a subtle influence or filter on the information received when using this crystal.
