The record keeper is a very unique formation which can be recognized by one or more small equilateral triangles on one or more of the faces. This is a very rare formation which is often misrepresented by retailers who call any crystal with geometric shapes n the faces as record keepers. A real record keeper, has perfect, raised triangles on the face. Once you see a real one you will not be fooled by imitations.

Legend has it that these crystals hold information within. This information was placed that many millenia ago, by and advanced race of humans, who had learned to harness the true power of the crystalline energies of the earth. These people ran their entire society based on crystal powers, that we are just beginning to learn about now. But, like all "advanced" societies, greed and the failure to distinguish right from wrong cause their world to end in calamity. We know these legends as the story of Atlantis.
